Christopher F. Edwards Jr. and Carlos O. Hardy Release New Book Volonians

Christopher F. Edwards Jr. and Carlos O. Hardy recently released their new book Volonians: Mysteries of the Vondercrat.

2013-06-26
HERMOSA BEACH, CA, June 26, 2013 (Press-News.org) Christopher F. Edwards and Carlos O. Hardy recently released their new book Volonians: Mysteries of the Vondercrat.

"Volonians is a must-read if you love fantasy books like Twilight or Harry Potter," said Kelsey McBride, Publicist at Book Publicity Services.

Volonia, a magical planet, is home to millions of beautiful Witches and Warlocks. Their magic is mighty, their spells are rich in tradition and their rituals stand the test of time. Varah Cutter, a rebellious, crafty Witch, has single handily conjured a book only The House of Lords can summon. The Vondercrat is the most powerful book in all of Volonia. Varah soon realizes The Lords aren't the only entity after her, but an evil brigade lead by the mighty Menace. Varah's fate stands in ruins as she fights to protect her children, her honor, and her truth.

"Volonians has a strong family element that we hope readers will relate to emotionally," said Carlos. "The Cutters are tight-knit. When an intense battles ensues between Varah and The House Of Lords, her family stays strong and sticks together to protect each other."

"I think readers, especially minorities, will appreciate the ethnic diversity in Volonians," said Christopher. "The Volonians aren't actually black, white, Latino, or Asian. They don't recognize race. Characters in the book are described as having vanilla, mahogany, and almond skin tones. "

Volonians is available on Amazon in paperback and e-book: http://www.amazon.com/Volonians-Mr-Christopher-Edwards-JR/dp/0615800971/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1371816200&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=volonains

Christopher F. Edwards Jr. and Carlos O. Hardy are from two of the roughest inner cities in America, Flint, MI and East St. Louis Illinois. They recently started the Let's Read program, which is geared at guiding youth across America to read more. Christopher and Carlos plan to travel the United States and perform Volonians as a play at junior and high schools this fall. Volonians will be the first of many books in the Let's Read Program to incorporate theatre and reading.

Christopher and Carlos currently reside in Los Angeles, CA. To schedule an interview or request a review copy of Volonians, please contact Kelsey McBride at info@bookpublicityservices.com. For more information on Volonians, visit http://volonians.com/
