Royal Bitch Couture launches women's clothing line to help save dogs from euthanasia

2010-11-06
LOS ANGELES, CA, November 06, 2010 (Press-News.org) Women's clothing company, Royal Bitch Couture announced today its launch to help save dogs from euthanasia. Founded by philanthropic entrepreneur Shane O'Neill, this Brentwood, California cause-based company encourages women to do their part in helping save the millions of dogs in America that are euthanized each year. Royal Bitch has pledged to donate 50% of the proceeds from the sales of their fashionable, yet comfortable clothing line to spay and neuter organizations across the country.

"I'm donating 50% of the profits from Royal Bitch Couture to shelters as well as spay and neuter organizations across the country," O'Neill said. "I'm calling the initiative, 'HELPING P.E.T.S.,' an acronym for Prevent Euthanasia Through Spaying."

Out of the 6 million homeless animals entering shelters each year in the United States, over 4 million are euthanized. "Roughly 80,000 animals are killed a week; this number is way too high and it needs to stop," according to O'Neill.

In collaboration with a group of innovative designers and Hollywood stylists, O'Neill has created everyday women's wear. Royal Bitch Couture is designed and manufactured in Los Angeles, CA and features extra soft formfitting cotton tee's, French loop hoodies, short shorts, low-rise sweat pants and dresses, making the collection touchable and a staple in every woman's wardrobe.

Each piece is boasts the motto "HELPING P.E.T.S." and the Royal Bitch Couture hangtags which feature canine advocates for the cause. The brand is set to launch online and in select boutiques across the country mid-November.

"The main point in developing this clothing line was that with the help and support of many fashionable ladies out there, they too can make a difference."
