Russell Bedford adds three firms to fast growing Mexican network

CPA firms with offices in Puebla, Culiacán, Mexicali, San Luis Río Colorado and Puerto Peñasco join Russell Bedford Mexico

LONDON, ENGLAND, November 11, 2010 (Press-News.org) Russell Bedford Mexico, part of the worldwide Russell Bedford CPA group, has continued its expansion with the addition of three new member firms based in the cities of Puebla, Culiacán and Mexicali.

BAS Ahuactzin Roman y Asociados, S.C. is the new firm in Puebla, some 200km north west of Mexico City. The firm of certified public accountants was established in 2002 and now has five partners: Humberto Ahuactzin Ortega, Esteban Macuil Rodríguez, Armando Aguila Baeza, Cesar David Ayala Carrillo and Emilio Antonio Román Villatoro. The firm offers a range of services including tax consulting, audit, accounting and management consultancy. The firm is now re-branded as Russell Bedford Puebla.

Gaxiola Ortiz y Asociados, S.C. is a firm of certified public accountants based in Culiacán, in the North West Pacific region of Mexico, some 1200km from Mexico City. This firm joined the network at the end of 2009 as a branch office of Russell Bedford Guadalajara, and has now been appointed as a member firm in its own right. Francisco Javier Gaxiola Godoy and Luis Eduardo Torres Gutierrez are the partners of this firm with a client base largely in the agriculture, livestock and industrial sectors, which dominate the economy of the region. Services focus predominantly on audit work but also cover tax, accounting and management consultancy. The firm is now known as Russell Bedford Culiacán.

Torres Gutierrez y Asociados S.C. was founded in 1990 in San Luis Río Colorado in the north of Mexico, near the US border. The practice has developed into a firm operating from three locations: a head office in Mexicali plus branch offices in San Luis Río Colorado and Puerto Peñasco. The range of services now includes accounting and tax compliance, tax advice and inheritance planning, financial advice and project proposals, financial and tax audits, and business systems development. The firm has three partners: Joel Torres Gutierrez, Ángel Harvey Garcia Navarro and Ilian Márquez Lamarque. The firm will now operate under the names Russell Bedford San Luis Río Colorado, Russell Bedford Puerto Peñasco and Russell Bedford Mexicali.

With these three new appointments, the Russell Bedford Mexico national network is now represented in 15 of the key cities in Mexico.
