BERLIN, GERMANY, November 11, 2010 (Press-News.org) Charles Hudson, one of the leading experts in social gaming, former employee at both Google, Inc and Gaia Online, VP of Business Development at Serious Business, as well as the organizer of the Virtual Goods and Social Gaming Summit, has today made several statements regarding what we can expect from the future of social gaming and the importance of said conferences in an interview with Socialgameobserver. When asked about the future of social gaming Mr. Hudson made this announcement:
"I do believe we'll begin to see the continued emergence of mobile social gaming and off-Facebook social games companies who thrive and prosper on the open Internet. Two years from now, I think Facebook will still be a big part of the story, but there will be many other interesting threads that expand the conversation around social gaming", Mr. Hudson explains.
The Virtual Goods Summit and the Social Gaming Summit is the two largest industry events focused on free-to-play games and microtransactions, successfully established by Charles Hudson with assistance from mediabistro.com. The two summits will for the first time take place in London this year, bringing leading game developers together to focus on the intersection of gaming and social media. Mr. Hudson made several announcements upon what matters of discussion he considers being the most important and what game developers has to expect from the future:
"I'm really excited about the premier version of the Social Gaming Summit in Europe. I think the team has done a great job of pulling together speakers and panelists who can address the key issues facing companies who are actively building social games or contemplating entering the space. More than anything, I think there are a few key issues on the mind of executives and developers in the space. First, what will Facebook do with Facebook Credits and what does that mean for the ecosystem? Second, what is the outlook for independent developers - is it game on or game over for them?"
Charles Hudson is one of the leading experts in social gaming, specialized in virtual goods and the next generation digital entertainment. He has experience in venture capital, business development and marketing. After working for Google and Gaia Online he became VP of Business Development at Serious Business, a leading social games producer that was acquired by Zynga in February 2010. Leveraging his industry experience, he successfully established technology conferences focusing on the intersection of gaming and social media like the Virtual Goods Summit and the Social Gaming Summit.

teliad launches the RankingScore

The evaluation of web pages for link building is not simple for SEOs. The Google PageRank is considered to be an important target variable for the evaluation of web pages. However, this is not sufficient (any longer) for the evaluation of a URL and therefore cannot be referred to alone for judging the quality of web pages. Numerous further data must additionally be taken into consideration. There are various approaches and instruments for judging the quality of a URL, e.g. the PageRank or the outgoing or incoming backlinks of a web page. However, these data do not provide ...
