NEW YORK, NY, February 21, 2014 (Press-News.org) Two books from the bestselling Thumperino Superbunny children's book series, by Amber L. Spradlin, have each received their own 2014 Pacific Book Award. Thumperino - Diary of a Superbunny and Thumperino Superbunny and the Christmas Star Caper have also been the recipients of the 2013 Book of the Year Award from Creative Child magazine, the 2013 National Indie Excellence Book Award, and reached number one on the Top 100 Children's Books list in March 2013 and February 2014.

Along with its many achievements, the series is offered in lending boxes by LittleFreeLibrary.org, a charitable organization providing neighborhood library stewardship worldwide. The Thumperino Superbunny books have debuted at the Bologna Children's Book Fair in Italy, premiered in New York as a children's musical by writer/lyricist Michael MacKenzie Wills, and have been accepted into the Library of Congress and The National Library of Scotland. Ms. Spradlin regularly presents author visits at libraries around the country where she reads live action segments of the books.

Pacific Book Review heralds Thumperino as "...a kind and courageous character that shows just what a hero he really is...an enjoyable book for children and parents...a quaint story with emphasis on the basic lessons that children should learn like, deductive reasoning, determination, sharing, teamwork, sensitivity to the needs of others and acts of selflessness. I highly recommend it."

The Thumperino Superbunny book series is available for purchase in paperback from bookstores everywhere, including Barnes & Noble and Amazon. The books can also be downloaded as an eBook for Nook and Kindle, or from the iBookstore.
