Mr. Carlzon has 25 years of professional experience, having recently become the CEO of the Nordic Region of Teleperformance. He is responsible for overseeing all operations in the Nordic region, which includes Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Having contributed to the profitability and success of major organizations through expert alignment of resources with international business needs and enterprise objectives, Mr. Carlzon is an experienced executive management professional with an extensive career history in the direction of some of Scandinavia's largest service and retail chains. Though much of his experience has been in change management and business development for large consumer goods corporations, Mr. Carlzon has also gained team and organizational leadership skills applicable across a number of industries.
A superb ability to unify international workforces of all sizes, strong brand building skills, and an in-depth understanding of cost-saving strategies are among his most notable traits. Mr. Carlzon is highly capable of making informed sales and marketing decisions to generate increases in distribution and returns to profitability. Over the last 20 years, Mr. Carlzon has served as CEO for Sodexo AB, Executive Vice President for COOP Sverige AB / Managing Director for COOP Forum, and executive director within Kuwait Petroleum International. He also acted as an independent management consultant orchestrating performance improvement and organizational change for multiple client companies.
Looking back, Mr. Carlzon attributes his success to being psychologically inclined to thrive, as well as flexible and enthusiastic. The highlight of his career was managing massive unification efforts for Kuwait Petroleum International, creating a focused corporate entity from five subsidiary companies headquartered in Paris, London, Antwerp, Rotterdam, and Ratingen, with nationally focused business aims.
Carlzon received a master's degree in economics and business administration in 1986. In years to come, Mr. Carlzon hopes to experience continued growth.
