DENVER, CO, February 28, 2014 (Press-News.org) Award-winning artist's manager Larry Frazin has enjoyed a long and distinguished career in the music industry. He stays involved through projects like his co-owned independent label, Across The Universe Records, and projects like Nomadic Artists Group, the first mobile agency for artists. But Larry Frazin has been active in the green movement in recent years, as co-founder and owner of the sustainability project LIV GRN.
Larry Frazin decided to use his established entertainment relationships to bring trendsetting style to the fast emerging "green" fashion world. Frazin, along with his partner, Sydney Holland, developed a line of organic tee shirts. "There just wasn't a cool, affordable, organic clothing line in the marketplace," he says.
LIV GRN apparel is available in boutiques nationwide and online. The online eco-blog is for ongoing discussion and insight into environmental issues. The LIV GRN motto: We must all be part of the solution.
LIV GRN has developed a partnership with Global Green, one of the world's largest and most recognized green charities. "We donate ten percent to the organization," Larry Frazin says. "Global Green USA is involved in so many amazing sustainable, environmental health projects."
Global Green USA is the American affiliate of Green Cross International, established to foster a global value shift toward a sustainable and secure future. It has already leveraged billions of dollars for environmental initiatives and implemented groundbreaking environmental policy. For nearly twenty years, Global Green USA has advocated for smart solutions to global warming. "It is greening schools, rebuilding homes and quietly making an impact. It's dedicated to making our world better," Larry Frazin observes.
Global Green is also leading efforts to help rebuild a green New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, through its sustainable green village and green schools initiatives. Global Green is credited with improving the lives of tens of thousands in low-income communities.
Global Green USA uses contacts in the entertainment industry to educate millions of people about climate friendly solutions to the world's environmental issues. Its annual Red Carpet/Green Cars Oscars campaign has become a premier attraction at the academy awards. Celebrities, eco-luminaries, and entertainment press from around the world gather to celebrate green solutions and hear the latest green messages from some of Hollywood's biggest stars. Larry Frazin was proud to serve on Global Green's Los Angeles Committee for its 6th annual pre-Oscar party in 2009.
For Larry Frazin, the best part of it all is that he can give back to the environment while conquering a new industry and achieving great results. The next chapter for LIV GRN will be LIV GRN WTR, focusing on pollution in the world's oceans solutions to clean it up.
In the meantime, Larry Frazin will build on the success of his Across The Universe label. Technology has provided the tools smaller independent record labels need to prosper. Larry Frazin and his team is using these tools to full advantage, and building a roster of success stories. The first Across The Universe artist, Electric Guest, has sold over 250 thousand singles.
