Louise A. Cannon Runs State-of-the-Art Jewelry Store

ALLENDALE, MI, March 6, 2014 (Press-News.org) Louise A. Cannon, Owner of The Country Jeweler, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in gemology.

The Country Jeweler is a retail jewelry store that specializes in certified diamonds, exotic gemstones and gold jewelry. Besides overseeing the store, Ms. Cannon offers classes on colored gemstones and diamonds. Her students also learn how to buy quality gemstones.

Ms. Cannon has 13 years of experience in gemology, including seven years as owner of The Country Jeweler. On a day-to-day basis, she designs jewelry, imports and exports products, and manages marketing projects. In addition to community outreach, she also updates her store's website. Ms. Cannon's other area of expertise includes customer service.

Demonstrating her knowledge of gemstones, Ms. Cannon attributes her success to God, listening to her customers and being self-sustaining. She became involved in her profession after studying gems as a hobby. She became certified in gemology, and then sold jewelry from her home for six years. Ms. Cannon opened her retail store seven years ago.

Ms. Cannon received certification as a gemologist from the International Gem Society LLC. She was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding and maintains affiliation with the American Gemstone Consultants Consortium. Whenever she is not making jewelry, Ms. Cannon enjoys dining out, reading and traveling. In the years to come, she plans for continued growth in her business.
