Success Corcaigh Challenge DMA's Study into Direct Marketing's Emerging Trend

CORK, IRELAND, March 10, 2014 (Press-News.org) Following the recent Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Awards, it was concluded that direct marketing would be shifting from response to engagement. Success Corcaigh challenge this statement as the demand for proving the return on investment becomes more prominent.

According to an article by Stephen Wilkinson, published on the Ashdown Group website, the DMA suggests that direct marketing shifts from response to engagement. James Neal, Managing Director of direct sales and marketing firm Success Corcaigh agrees that engagement with consumers is important and that this is largely what direct marketing is about; however to suggest that the response rate and producing real results are less important is difficult to believe by industry professionals such as James Neal.
