They invited them to nominate three peers for Top Dentist in each dental specialty via an online survey. 562 experts took the survey, resulting in 4,400 nominations and 20 winners in each specialty. Nominations were then reviewed by an advisory board, which included nine dentists who were chosen for their credentials and peer nominations.
