Renowned plastic surgery office, Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery is proud to announce they have recently performed the DIEP Flap procedure on their 200th Patient and are nearing 400 total DIEP Flaps to date

2014-03-10
LONE TREE, CO, March 10, 2014 (Press-News.org) Dr. Jeremy Z. Williams and Dr. Christopher G. Williams, the board-certified plastic surgeons at The Breast Center Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery, are proud to announce they have just performed the DIEP Flap procedure on their 200th patient. DIEP Flap (Deep Inferior Epigastric Perforator) is a complicated breast reconstruction procedure using the patient's own tissue and skin to reconstruct a natural-looking breast. The surgeons at The Breast Center Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery have performed nearly 400 successful DIEP Flaps in total.

Considered a regional authority in the area of breast and body surgery, The Breast Center Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery was also one of the first center in Colorado to perform the SIEA Flap, SCIA Flap, Bilateral TUG Flap and the Nipple-Sparing DIEP Flap. Their prominent Denver plastic surgery office offers up to eight different types of autologous breast reconstruction in addition to implant-based reconstruction at their office in South Denver.

"Reaching our 200th DIEP Flap patient establishes that technical procedures can effectively take place in a community setting, not necessarily in large, academic institutions," said Denver breast surgeon Dr. Jeremy Williams. "This underscores the commitment that The Breast Center Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery has made to be regional and national leaders in breast reconstruction."

The Breast Center Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery offers implant-based breast reconstruction using silicone and saline implants as well as direct-to-implant (single-stage) breast reconstruction. Patients may also elect nipple reconstruction and areola pigmentation as part of the breast reconstruction process at the office.

The Breast Center Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery serves the Denver, Lone Tree, Cherry Creek and surrounding areas in Colorado, and throughout the United States. In addition to breast reconstruction procedures, the Denver plastic surgery office offers a variety of plastic surgery procedures including breast augmentation, body contouring, fat transfer, and gynecomastia surgery for men.

For more information, or to schedule an appointment with one of our experienced breast reconstruction surgeons, please contact them via their website or by phone at 303-706-1100.
