Two Rivers Launches Solbites Cracker Sandwiches

All-natural non-GMO sandwiches will debut at Natural Products Expo West to provide an alternative to popular but typically unhealthy pre-packaged snacks

2014-03-10
DENVER, CO, March 10, 2014 (Press-News.org) Two Rivers Foods announced today it is launching Solbites Cracker Sandwiches, a line extension to the popular Solbites line of ready-to-eat snacks.

Solbites Cracker Sandwiches will be available in four flavors: Chocolate Peanut Butter, Maple Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter Honey and Cinnamon Sunflower Butter, a nut-free option for accounts such as schools and airlines that serve those with severe nut aller-gies.

Solbites Cracker Sandwiches is the first line extension to Solbites, an all-natural, single-serving package containing whole wheat crackers and a choice of three different combi-nations of spreads, available at a variety of retailers including Food Town, Kroger/King Soopers, Whole Foods Market and Vitamin Cottage, as well as a number of independent retailers.

"We've had great success with Solbites and are excited to offer an even easier on-the-go healthy snack with additional flavors," said Arn Hayden, founder and CEO of Two Rivers Foods. "Typically, pre-packed cracker sandwiches are filled with artificial ingredi-ents, so we set out to provide a healthy alternative with all the same convenience as less-healthy, artificial competitors," he added.

Solbites Cracker Sandwiches will begin to be carried at selected retailers over the next several weeks. Distribution locations will be available at the Two Rivers website at http://www.solbites.com.

Two Rivers Foods, based in Lyons, Colo., puts a creative and healthy spin on traditional ready-to-eat snacks. SolBites combines delicious, all-natural whole wheat crackers with three different combinations of spreads -- almond butter and honey, chocolate peanut butter and strawberry and peanut butter and strawberry -- in single-serve, fully recyclable packages, perfect for busy moms or on-the-go consumers. Two Rivers Foods will soon be launching new and exciting products to give more options to those on the go! Found-ed in 2011, SolBites is available in a growing number of retail locations or on their web-site at http://www.solbites.com.
