SmartPrice: Two New Items to Fill Void in Extreme Value Retail Dessert Category

NORTHBROOK, IL, March 12, 2014 (Press-News.org) The Dolce Tuscano Mini Iced Eclairs and Dolce Tuscano Mini Cream Puffs will be marketed by SmartPrice through extreme value retailers like Dollar Tree and Deals. SmartPrice management team worked closely with value oriented retailers to create the products, and created a new brand, Dolce Tuscano . The brand connotes high-end, old world quality.

The mini iced eclairs feature a delicious, custard filling surrounded by flaky pastry and topped with rich cocoa icing. The mini cream puffs have a European-style puff pastry surrounding a Bavarian cream filling.

Both items will retail in a 3oz package in the frozen food section. The packaging features four color graphics and serving suggestions. The items have a suggested retail price of $1.29.
