Maguire, who will chair the newly formed Environmental and Natural Resources Practice Group, has extensive experience litigating environmental and land use-related matters.

Maguire is a founding member of the Natural Resources Section of the Ventura County Bar Association and has been active in water rights adjudications and post-adjudication disputes. He has also litigated various matters on behalf of a public water agency and a private water company.
A Thousand Oaks native, Maguire received his bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego, and law degree from the University of Chicago Law School, where he received the Victor McQuiston Scholarship and participated in the Mandel Legal Aid Clinic. Prior to joining FCOP, Maguire practiced at Latham & Watkins LLP in San Diego and Alston & Bird LLP in Westlake Village and Los Angeles.
