Ohio Dentist Dr. Terry Daniel Now Offering Periodontics Treatment

Hardin Advanced Dentistry is proud to announce it will now be offering periodontic treatment to better serve their Mason Ohio patients

CINCINNATI, OH, March 17, 2014 (Press-News.org) Cincinnati dentist Dr. Terry Daniel is proud to announce his team will now be offering periodontic treatments to better serve patients. Dr. Daniel is the founder of Hardin Advanced Dentistry located in Mason, Ohio.

Periodontal disease (gum disease) is a common general dentistry problem. A large number of adults are estimated to currently have, or will eventually suffer from, some form of gum disease. Gingivitis is the most common form, usually identifiable by bleeding and swelling of the gums.

"Periodontic services are an important service that we provide at Hardin Advanced Dentistry," said Cincinnati dentist Dr. Tara Hardin. "We are excited to have Dr. Daniel's expertise at our practice."

Periodontal diseases range from gum inflammation to serious ailments. Patients who may be a candidate for periodontal treatment may be experiencing the following symptoms:

• Chronic bad breath or a bad taste in the mouth
• Loose teeth
• Pus in between teeth
• Gums pulling away from teeth
• Generalized pain in and around the gums

Dr. Terry Daniel received his specialty in periodontics and Master of Science degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Periodontology.

Dr. Daniel received his dental degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dentistry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He completed a General Practice Residency at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

He maintains a private practice limited to periodontics and dental implants in Columbus, Ohio. He is also a clinical assistant professor at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and is a staff periodontist at the Columbus VA Hospital. Dr. Daniel was awarded the best oral research presentation by the Academy of Osseointegration and was a finalist for the Balint Orban Memorial Competition by the American Academy of Periodontology.
