New Location, New Speakers Set for 3rd Annual Strengthening Patient Advocacy Relations Across the Life Sciences Conference

Partnering with PCORI, Building Effective Industry Alliances, Utilizing Non-Branded Patient Websites Among Discussion Topics

CHICAGO, IL, March 21, 2014 (Press-News.org) For the third consecutive year, Q1 Productions will be hosting the Annual Strengthening Patient Advocacy Relations Across the Life Sciences Conference, offering attendees more extensive networking opportunities and an all new lineup of speakers from within all corners of the healthcare industry.

This year, the conference will be held June 12-13 in Arlington, Virginia. A variety of additions have been made to the agenda, such as a panel comprised of the patients themselves, as well as nearly two dozen brand new speakers from a variety of healthcare backgrounds including pharmaceutical, medical device and policy. By popular request, all sessions will be case study-driven and led by some of the industry's experts, including Amy Fisher of Shire, Sonali Chopra of Genentech and Greg Martin of PCORI. Each speaker at this year's conference is newly added to the agenda, offering a wider array of viewpoints and ideas.

Central to this year's program will be vast knowledge share surrounding proactive patient immersion within clinical trial design, the identification of market access strategies in accordance with the implementation of the ACA, as well as approaches in uncovering and partnering with the most optimal patient groups. The conference will provide opportunities for innovation and help bring clarity to pharmaceutical and biotech patient advocacy relations professionals that will ultimately maximize the impact on the industry and within the patient community.

The conference is opened to pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies of any size and discussions will cover a wide array of topics such as advocacy opportunities and partnering with PCORI. There will be no introductory topics discussed, which will provide attendees with more tangible takeaways.
