SAN FRANCISCO, CA, March 27, 2014 (Press-News.org) RoastSF, a collective of comics that roasts topical subjects and local celebrities bimonthly, will convene again for the Roast of a Bus-Riding Techie on Saturday, April 12 at Playland bar.
The Roast will showcase the ridiculing talents of some of the best comedians in the city, including Pete O'Keefe, Keith Swiggart, Aldrich Teruel and Jeff Lo. Drinking is encouraged -- sensitivity is not.
Join RoastSF as they taunt this month's guest of "honor," a techie who rides the fancy bus to Silicon Valley by day and drives up San Francisco rent prices by night.
"I love a good roast," said host Emily Van Dyke. "It's like therapy."
Past roasts have included the roast of a lawyer, drag queen, and street kid, with each receiving rave reviews.
"Wow," said an audience member.
The show begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 12 at Playland Bar, located at 1351 Polk St. Tickets are $10 and include all-night admission to Playland. Tickets may be purchased at theroast.eventbrite.com.
