Citrin Cooperman Again Ranked 25th Largest Firm in United States

With five offices throughout the northeast, Citrin Cooperman also moved up in the Mid-Atlantic rankings

2014-03-28
PHILADELPHIA, PA, March 28, 2014 (Press-News.org) Citrin Cooperman today announced that it has been ranked 25th in Accounting Today's Top 100 Firms 2014 and sixth largest in the Mid-Atlantic region by revenue. The firm maintained its presence among the country's top quarter of accounting firms for a second straight year, reporting more than 14 percent growth in revenue in 2013.

"Our continued growth in both revenue and profitability once again demonstrates the commitment of each member of the Citrin Cooperman team to not just meeting, but exceeding the expectations of our clients every day," said Joel Cooperman, managing partner of Citrin Cooperman.

Accounting Today's Top 100 Firms is an annual ranking of the largest firms across the United States and by geographic region according to net revenue. This is the second year in a row that Citrin Cooperman has been ranked among the nation's top 25 companies, up three spots from 28th in 2012.

The 2014 rankings reflect Citrin Cooperman's continued momentum as it grows both organically and by merger. Though the past decade has brought major changes to the accounting industry - from mergers and acquisitions to economic challenges brought on by the recession - Citrin Cooperman has continued to grow consistently. Founded in 1979 in New York with just two partners, the firm now employs more than 500 people in five offices in the northeast. In 2000, Citrin Cooperman garnered just $18 million in revenue. By 2013, it was bringing in net revenue of $143 million, a 14.4 percent increase over the previous year.

That solid fiscal performance continues to attract the best and brightest in the industry, including the partners and staff of Leon M. Reimer & Co., P.C., which joined Citrin Cooperman in November 2013. While acquisition and growth are part of Citrin Cooperman's strategy for success, every move is made with one factor in mind: the satisfaction of the firm's clients.

"We are laying the groundwork for continued prosperity by nurturing the fundamentals of business success: attracting and retaining talented professionals and remaining singularly focused on meeting our clients' needs," said Cooperman.

About Citrin Cooperman: Citrin Cooperman (www.citrincooperman.com) is a full-service accounting and consulting firm with locations throughout the Northeast that provide a range of attest, assurance, tax, business advisory, valuation, and forensic accounting services to clients across the globe.
