NEWPORT BEACH, CA, March 28, 2014 (Press-News.org) West Coast boaters will get an opportunity to step aboard some of the largest and most luxuries boats on the boating scene during the 41st annual Newport Boat Show -- the show, presenting the largest collection of big yachts west of the Mississippi will return to Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach April 3-6, 2014. The annual exhibition is California's premier big boat and yacht show, presenting more boats in the water than any other event on the West Coast.
At the 2014 event, show-goers will be able to step aboard and compare the unique features of more than 200 pleasure boats -- including brand-new models, as well as ocean-tested brokerage yachts that come pre-loaded with sought-after amenities.
"We're expecting this to be the largest show we've had in seven or eight years," said show producer Duncan McIntosh. "More new models and products will be on display than we've seen in nearly a decade. The fleet of in-water larger yachts - 70-feet and above - continues to grow while the number of accessory exhibits is outstripping our ability to accommodate them all."
Situated at picturesque Lido Marina Village, this year's event will offer more than 400,000 square feet of floating dock exhibits and boardwalk displays, plus a huge selection of boating accessories, electronics, gear and services.
The 2014 Newport Boat Show will feature the newest vessels to reach the Western United States and will have on display a whole host of exhibitors both shoreside and in the water to showcase innovative products and services that make owning and operating a big boat more enjoyable.
Show-goers can come aboard vessels of all models and sizes to see the latest and greatest features and amenities that today's top boat builders have to offer. Browse the cabins, galleys and cockpits of some of the most breathtaking vessels on the West Coast., including the Prestige 500 fly, the new 85-foot Ocean Alexander, the pleasure boat Lady Diane and the 42-foot Nordic Tug, KHOTOSO, along with many others.
Back for a second time at the show is the 108 foot vessel, Argo that will be on display by Rick Obey & Associates. Savoy Jackie Gleason's former boat is also making a comeback to the show and will be shown by Scott B. Jones.
Even if you're not in the market for a new boat, the Newport Boat Show is a one-stop shop for boating accessories, the latest in marine electronics, marine engines, generators, tenders and more. Boating services will also be showcased at the annual show, including marine financing and insurance. FreedomLift, will be at the show along with Integrated Marine Systems, Crew West Marine Electronics and Seacoast Marine Finance along with a number of other vendors, dealers and marina representatives.
Show hours are noon-7 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $15 (credit cards accepted) for adults and free for children 12 and younger. Free offsite parking and continuous shuttle service will be available.
