Bestselling Parenting Authors Announce Mother's Day Extravaganza

The authors of the bestselling book, The Mother of All Meltdowns, unveil No Mother Is Perfect, a new community for moms, as they launch a Mother's Day campaign with a spectacular giveaway.

2014-04-02
AUGUSTA, ME, April 02, 2014 (Press-News.org) The authors behind the bestselling motherhood book The Mother of All Meltdowns kicked off a huge Mother's Day extravaganza this week with the unveiling of No Mother Is Perfect, a new community for moms. The extravaganza includes the No Mother Is Perfect...But Every Mother Is Unique campaign, running through May 11. The campaign features a combination blog tour and giveaway with various prize packages from a collection of national sponsors.

The inspiration for the new community came from feedback received from readers and reviewers of The Mother of All Meltdowns. The community is intended to be a judgment-free-zone for all mothers, encouraging them to accept the meltdowns, stop chasing perfection, and embrace their uniquity. Moms can sign up for a free account, create groups, and join in on discussions with other members.

"While promoting the book, we discovered a very common theme. Mothers don't openly talk about the 'not so great' moments of parenthood; the times when they meltdown and temporarily lose their minds. To do so would reveal their flaws, exposing that they are not the picture-perfect mothers often seen on the pages of a magazine," explains Crystal Ponti, contributing author and publisher of the anthology. "So we created a place where the perfectly imperfect mother can go to let down her guard and talk about the meltdowns, struggles, and less rosy aspects of being a mom."

In addition to the community launch, the authors have also commenced their second blog tour and are holding a special giveaway. The giveaway consists of three prize packages, including a grand prize of three night stay for two at a destination spa worth approximately $2,000. Their brand partners include The Oaks at Ojai, Cariloha, Wicker Central, Metropolis Coffee Company, Wind & Fire Jewelry, Chuao Chocolatier, Global Rose, and Anew Riesling.

To learn more or participate in the giveaway, visit the official contest page at NoMotherIsPerfect.com. The blog tour calendar, including a listing of upcoming stops, can be found on the book's main website at TheMotherOfAllMeltdowns.com.

Crystal Ponti is available for interviews and appearances. To book presentations, media appearances, and interviews, contact themotherofallmeltdowns@gmail.com.
