Dave Tiffany, a reliability specialist for Pioneer Engineering, will be presenting a case study on gearbox condition monitoring and how the creation and implementation of a predictive maintenance program can result in an increase in both equipment reliability and cost savings.

During the presentation, attendees will learn how to start their own basic oil analysis program, learn the importance of proper lubrication, discuss different maintenance strategies and will encourage participants to be champions for the creation and development of their own predictive and proactive maintenance programs in their facilities.
With over two decades of experience working in wastewater treatment and reclamation, Dave Tiffany is one of Pioneer Engineering's biggest advocates for proper reliability centered maintenance practices to extend and maintain the life of industrial rotating equipment. Dave is an ISO Category III certified vibration analyst and holds Machinery Lubrication Technician II and Machinery Lubrication Analyst III certifications. As Pioneer Engineering's subject matter expert for oil analysis and lubrication, Mr. Tiffany is spearheading the tribology division of Pioneer Engineering and is the primary instructor for the firm's newest course entitled, "Introduction to Machine Lubrication and Oil Analysis".
