DALLAS, TX, April 03, 2014 (Press-News.org) Author's Tea, Inc. officially launched its website Monday, March 31, 2014. A social network for authors and their fans, http://www.AuthorsTea.com gives users a place to create, connect and share their stories. The website primarily features fanfiction stories but published authors can also display their books and blogs.
"It's a site for writers, by writers," said President, Dru Ubben. "We've built a platform where authors can showcase their work and interact directly with fans and other like-minded artists." Stories are housed in familiar categories and users will recognize facebook-like threads with twitter-type broadcasts. "This is only the beginning," stressed Ubben, "there are more exciting things to come."
Ubben's teenage daughter first introduced her to fanfiction and a network of writers coined "Underground FanFictioners." Nearly 30 authors from around the globe volunteered their time and expertise to make the site a reality.
