As Mr. Murray puts it, "The vast majority of encumbered business software will be next to useless in the looming world of Internet delivery and browser interface. Even the newer cloud based applications, some of which have been tremendously successful, will struggle to survive long term because they have been written using old "3GL/4GL or programming code" based technology, i.e. C, C++, C#, Python."

He became involved in his profession through the experience he gained in the technology sector during his time in the military.
