The U. S. Open Golf Championship is the second of the four major golf championships in the nation and is on the official schedule of both the PGA Tour and the European Tour. This year's championship will take place, June 9 - 22 at the Pinehurst Resort & Country Club in the Village of Pinehurst, North Carolina.
