ALBUQUERQUE, NM, April 09, 2014 (Press-News.org) Mark Tarrant, writer and director of the independent feature film Blood and Spurs is proud to announce a partnership with Orchard Corset of Wenatchee, WA.
"Orchard Corset provides such high quality merchandise. Their variety of corsets fit in perfectly with the vision I have for the female gang featured in the movie," says Tarrant.
The film is currently in pre-production as they work to raise funding via Kickstarter to secure the famed Bonanza Creek Ranch for the shoot. The Santa Fe-area ranch has been the backdrop for films like Cowboys and Aliens, Appaloosa, Wild Hogs, 3:10 to Yuma and Kid Nation.
Orchard Corset is a worldwide retailer in authentic corsets, superior shapewear and quality foundations to meet the needs of today's women. Their diverse line of merchandise provides Tarrant with all the pieces needed to authentic and uplevel the appearance of the actresses on site.
"We were thrilled to join forces with the Indie film Blood and Spurs! Strong women are at the heart of what we do and who we are. Corsets and Guns? What's not to love," says Cheri Dudek, Marketing Director for Orchard Corset.
Tarrant hopes to start production of Blood and Spurs this summer. Their Kickstarter campaign offers a variety of rewards for donors including the opportunity to be on set or part of the cast, or to literally be the face of a wild west "wanted poster" to show appreciation for support.
The Blood and Spurs film crowd-funding campaign runs until April 16. Learn more at http://www.SupportBloodandSpurs.com
