"We announced a contest on July 23rd for reaching the 300 Followers number, but I never imagined hitting that number in less than one week."

The winner of the 300 Followers contest received a customized dog t-shirt for their pooch. The winner was randomly selected and then notified via direct message within Twitter. "I was a little anxious after sending the DM to the contest winner because we did not receive a response for several days. I started to wonder whether this method of notification would work, but it ended up working like magic! A few days later we communicated all essential details with the winner, and the t-shirt has been sent off to the lucky winner," said Ms. Frieze.

The Dog Royaltees Twitter account now has more than 400 followers, and they have wasted no time in announcing the next contest available for their followers. "The concept of our next contest, the 1000 Followers Twitter Contest, is the same as our first one. Simply follow Dog Royaltees on Twitter, and you are registered to win," says Ms. Frieze. "This contest will also keep all of our current followers in the running to be a winner."
