Eco-Friendly Retail Store Will Open in the Avenue of Fashion District

DETROIT, MI, April 16, 2014 (Press-News.org) Bliss Cureton, owner and founder of GreenBliss will open GreenBliss Lifestyle & Wellness store on April 17, 2014. The new retail location is in the Avenue of Fashion District in Detroit and will be one of the many new locally sought after shops. The store will carry an array of non-toxic cleaning supplies, eco-friendly home goods and offer concrete transformation services.

The retail store is located in the University District, one of Detroit's most distinguished areas and aims to attract locals who want to live an eco-friendly lifestyle without breaking the bank. Cureton says "A lot of people think it's a hassle to be eco-friendly, so it's my goal to provide locals with the convenience of getting environmentally friendly goods at a competitive price and convenient location. This area is becoming a one stop shop. I envision it as a small downtown Royal Oak or Birmingham in the near future and I think that's what Detroiters want."

GreenBliss Lifestyle & Wellness store will be surrounded by popular retailers including Simply Casual, 1917 Bistro and a number of small businesses predominantly owned by Detroiters. The area has seen a surge of business since receiving a $1.5M grant from the federal government and the Detroit Economic Growth Center to provide better pedestrian amenities and redesign the streets for the approximately 3 miles of Livernois between 8 Mile and the Lodge Freeway.
