SPLIT, CROATIA, April 18, 2014 (Press-News.org) Navis Yacht Charter has announced that it will be attending the MYBA Genoa Yacht Show, which is taking place from 28th April to 2nd May 2014 in the Italian port city. The company, which is currently in the process of applying for full MYBA membership, will send a broker to the event, which will be the 26th edition of the Genoa Yacht Show. The show is a trade only event, which means that it is not open to the general public, with only members the MYBA, or YACHTFOLIO subscribers allowed to attend.
The majority of registrations have already been made, as the capacity to register for the show has been open since 20th January 2014. Those able to attend the 5 day event are split into four separate categories which are; Yachts, Brokers, Exhibitors and Press.
Navis Yacht Charter will be represented in the 'Brokers' category, with broker Marin Gabric set to attend alongside many other peers from other successful yacht broker and charter companies. A full list of brokers that will be at the Genoa Yacht Show can be found at the MYBA website.
In terms of yachts, the show will host some of the most important yachts available for charter in the 2014 Mediterranean yachting and sailing season, including at least seven sailing and motor yachts which were constructed in 2013. Over 50 attending yachts have been confirmed already, and these will be on show for the duration of the event. Both the motor and sailing yachts being exhibited should be over 20 metres in length and not have been exhibited at the show in the past 2 years according to rules set by the MYBA. The event promises to be another interesting one for the yacht charter industry and will have only the second ever chef's competition at this particular Genoa. Chefs will judges on their ability to cook brunch on a superyacht over the course of the first three days of the event.
The professional atmosphere of the event, in addition to the number of representatives from each sector of the yachting industry are among the reasons given for a yacht charter company such as Navis Yacht Charter to attend the Genoa Yacht Show in 2014.
