Plumb Center focus on future heating

The ever popular and successful Plumb Center Future Heat Night series has now come to a close.

2010-11-18
WHADDON, ENGLAND, November 18, 2010 (Press-News.org) After nine sociable and educational evening events were held at venues around the country, the Plumb Center Future Heat Night series has now come to a close.

The events, which were supported by leading manufacturers Grundfos, Worcester Bosch, Fernox, Honeywell, Heatrae Sadia and Uponor, offered installers the chance to learn more about the future of heating, as well as providing up-to-date product and service information and industry updates.

The Future Heat programme, which is now well established in the Plumb Center calendar, was initiated because Plumb Center recognised that it had a responsibility to educate installers on the many changes occurring in the heating industry.

Alan Stevenson, Trading Director, Plumb Center, said, "Installers play a critical role in the future of the heating industry. We therefore want to feel confident that we are doing all we can to provide our customers with the knowledge and resources necessary to their business - the Future Heat programme does just that. It is a great opportunity for visitors to network with fellow trades people and manufacturers, while at the same time learning about new products and technologies that will benefit their businesses."

Throughout the course of the evening, installers were also able to take advantage of a number of special offers from the manufacturers and Plumb Center offered additional eXtra points on any purchases made.

In response to the overwhelming interest and success of the previous events, Plumb Center is planning to host more events in 2011. To find out about planned events please call or visit your local branch to register your interest.
