Groove Launches Advanced Fertility App Globally

Austin-based startup launches its app globally amidst its success in the United States.

2014-04-19
AUSTIN, TX, April 19, 2014 (Press-News.org) Austin-based women's health startup, Groove, launches its sleek 'Period & Fertility Tracker' app internationally amidst the success of its launch in the United States last month. Groove's 'Period & Fertility Tracker' is a comprehensive app that helps women naturally manage fertility in every life stage. The app helps women naturally and effectively avoid pregnancy, ease the process of getting pregnant, monitor reproductive health, or track their cycles.

The app is currently only available for iOS devices, but the Groove team is hard at work developing an Android app. "We really want to get our app in the hands of as many women as possible," said cofounder and CTO Brian Smith. "Launching on iOS happened to be our first step, but the number of women asking when we'll be available for Android has been incredible. We're excited about expanding our reach."

"Our goal with the app was to redefine the period and fertility app by slimming down features and focusing on design and user experience," said Groove cofounder and CEO Jennifer Aldoretta. "But the app is really just our first step. We have hardware in the works, and our vision for Groove goes far beyond our app. We hope to create a comprehensive set of tools that help women in every stage of their reproductive lives."

Groove was founded in 2013 by a pair of Georgia Tech mechanical engineers and is headquartered in Austin, Texas. Groove is a female-led, female-focused startup that creates products meant to empower women with knowledge and tools to easily and confidently manage fertility in every life stage. With a passion for exceptional design, Groove's commitment to user experience allows for the creation of products that are unparalleled. Find Groove at http://www.readytogroove.com.

To alleviate pain during daily activities, roomy shoes, bunion pads and non-prescription pain medicine are used to decrease the pressure placed on the bunion.
