WASHINGTON, April 16, 2014 (Press-News.org) Leni S. Berliner, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Energy Farms International LLC, has been named a Worldwide Branding Professional of the Year in Renewable Energy.
While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.
After experiencing success in her prior line of work as founder and President of Energy Farms International, Ms. Berliner now turns her attention toward her life's great passion: creating breathtaking and captivating works of art and eventually managing her own studio. Over the past 10 years, Ms. Berliner has rediscovered her love of art and design, which she had set aside as an adolescent to make room for her professional endeavors. From 2002 until 2004, she took classes in drawing, landscape painting and interior design at the Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington, D.C.
Possessing a unique and consistent art style, Ms. Berliner considers her work to be representational with a hint of impressionism. Working within her home studio in acrylics, she captures the mood and uplifting effect of being in nature, working from photographs and sketches, taken and drawn en plein air, or outdoors. "When a viewer says: 'It makes me want to go there,' or 'I feel like I am there,' I am thrilled," says Ms. Berliner. " I consider composition and color to be my strong suits; I am working on scaling up and experimenting with more sculptural approaches. I want to complete my Great Falls series, and start a new series at another site.
Ms. Berliner intends to spend this next chapter of her life creating and selling her art. In her travels, she has found that few galleries show her style of painting, so she plans to open what is known as a "pop-up" gallery to exhibit and sell her paintings. If this proves to be a success, then she will make this an annual activity, painting for six to nine months and selling for three to six months, depending on her level of production, previous sales and availability and cost of short-term space. Until then, her paintings may be viewed and purchased from her on-line gallery, www.dancingtreearts.com
