Escondido Fitness Center Unveils Thanksgiving Break Sports Camp & Daily Clinics

New Escondido fitness center is offering sport specific training clinics the week of Thanksgiving break to help athletes providing useful, usable training information to help enhance performance while avoiding injuries.

2010-11-19
ESCONDIDO, CA, November 19, 2010 (Press-News.org) Escondido Fitness Center, Breakthroughs Sports & Fitness, is hosting a Thanksgiving Break Sports Camp with a different sport specific clinic every day during Thanksgiving break, November 22 thru November 26 (excluding Thursday, Turkey Day).
The Thanksgiving Break Sports Camp, designed for boys & girls ages 9 through 16, builds an athletic foundation to improve performance and, of particular interest to parents, significantly reduce injuries by getting the kids bodies ready to compete in sports.

The Thanksgiving break sports camps at the newly opened Escondido Fitness Center offer training in Baseball to build rotational power, football to increase force, explosive power & speed, basketball & volleyball to improve quickness, agility & balance and soccer to build endurance, quickness and explosive acceleration. There's also a clinic for general sports fitness.

"Our methodology is unconventional and not for everyone" states Terrence (T) Vitiello, Head Trainer at the Escondido Fitness Center. "We start everyone off with an assessment to identify their weak links. Then we use Isokinetics, Plyometrics, Isometrics and ballistic moves to fix the weaknesses. Yes, this will raise the level of performance on the field or court---but, it goes a long way towards preventing injuries, particularly the common sports related injuries such as pulls or sprains. And when you're done with a workout here, you feel alive rather than beat up because we stimulate or awaken the Nervous System as part of the training" concluded T.

People in the Escondido area can register for the Thanksgiving break sports camp online @ http://www.timetobreakthrough.com/thanksgiving-clinics or call 760 845 4779.

The Thanksgiving break sports camp schedule:
Baseball: Monday, 11/22 - 10:30am to 12:30pm
Football: Tuesday, 11/23 - 10:30am to 12:30pm; 1:30pm to 3:30pm
Soccer: Wednesday, 11/24 - 10am to Noon
Basketball/Volleyball: Friday, 11/26 - 1:30pm to 3:30pm
General Fitness: Monday, 11/29 - 10:30pm to 12:30pm

An Escondido based fitness center located in scenic Bandy Canyon. We use an outside of the box method training. We start from the inside of the body on the cellular Level and Nervous system- we inherited our process from Yuri Verhoshansky and Michael Yessis Our core methodology come hours of exhaustive experiments
