JS Design Concepts, Inc. signs on to influence new line of Apple accessories.

Apple has dominated the consumer electronics markets recently. So where will they look to when these products need accessories? None other than Indianapolis based design consultancy, JS Design Concepts Inc.

2010-11-19
INDIANAPOLIS, IN, November 19, 2010 (Press-News.org) Just look around your local universities, shopping malls, coffee houses, or grocery stores and Apple products are in abundance. The iPhone posted 5.2 million in sales during the third quarter alone for AT&T this year, while the iPad sold 4.19 million in the fiscal fourth quarter. With this type of dominance in consumer electronics Apple has created a parallel market with accessories for these devices.

JS Design Concepts Inc. has realized this trend and made a strong push to meet its demand. No stranger to product design, JSDC has a decorated staff of designers and engineers who have created many product lines of cases, docks, and peripherals for these Apple devices. Initially it was the duality of the Indianapolis based firm that made them a perfect candidate to create accessories for Apple. JSDC has both a Product Design and Retail Environment design division which allows them to take products from concepts to store shelves, literally.

When asked about this new relationship with Apple, Director of Design for JSDC, James Spaulding Sr. stated, "This relationship is extremely important for our company, as well as putting Indianapolis on the map globally as a source for design services." Mr. Spaulding later went on to explain the stigma that Indiana is mainly known for production and not viewed as a location for creative services like its Chicago neighbor is. "Our product lines will allow users to maximize their use of Apple products and give them a sense of customizability.
