TAMPA, FL, November 19, 2010 (Press-News.org) Featuring fellow label mates Famous Kid Brick and Blackboi and distributed through his own Hussch Boy Productions imprint, the much-anticipated compilation is fueled by his runaway single "Who You Finna Try," which quickly gained momentum across the Sunshine State. The single caught on throughout the nation after a local teenager made a hilarious YouTube.com video to the song and it was picked up by WorldStarHipHop.com.
Within days of being posted on WorldStarHipHop.com, people all over the world were uttering the words "who you finna try." The video acquired more than 400,000 plays on WSHH and had been embedded on more than 50,000 Facebook pages. The term "Who You Finna Try" became a trending topic on popular social network Twitter.com. And the video was even aired on Comedy Central. Needless to say, Cristol's website was booming and people were downloading the song all over the world.
The official video shoot for this phenomenon has been set for November 7, 17 and 28 in St. Petersburg.
"I knew early on that 'Who You Finna Try' was a hot record but I didn't know that it would catch on as quickly as it did," Cristol admits. "The way that the fans have reacted is proof that there is still a lot of good music out there. And I intend on keeping the hits coming."
In addition, Hussch Boy Hits also features other heat-seeking singles including Famous Kid Brick's "The Anthem" and "I'm On It" as well as Blackboi's "Jook" and "P-LO." Just an introduction to the wide array of talent that the label has to offer, the compilation is just a taste of their talents to promote their three solo projects set to be released early 2011.
"We are the top three artists from St. Petersburg right now so it was only right that we all came together to give our fans one flawless compilation album," Cristol continues. "Then after you thought we were done, we will be coming back again and again and again to bring you three very distinct flavors nonstop."
