Savant Books Announces Release of Mike Farris' Newest Murder-Mystery Novel, "Manifest Intent"

Savant Books and Publications LLC, Honolulu, Hawaii, publishers of significant books and enduring media for the 21st century, announces the release of Mike Farris' newest murder-mystery novel, "Manifest Intent."

2010-12-07
HONOLULU, HI, December 07, 2010 (Press-News.org) When lawyer Scot Anthony is handed a supposedly routine fraud case, he never imagines that both his prime witnesses would be murdered. Now the killer is after him. As bodies pile up and more suspects emerge, Scot must quickly solve the case to block the killer's...manifest intent.

Mike Farris, author of "Kanaka Blues" (Savant 2010), is an award-winning screenwriter, literary agent, and entertainment attorney, focusing on the film and publishing industries. He lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife Susan, who is also an attorney.

"After the release by Savant Books of my Hawaiian thriller, 'Kanaka Blues,' with its backdrop of Hawaiian sovereignty, I have gone back to my roots," says Farris. "'Manifest Intent' is set in the world of lawyers and law firms, which has been my world for over twenty-seven years. The legal world, with its own rules and language, is a natural for murder-mysteries. I hope, in addition to entertaining, 'Manifest Intent' also provides readers insight into that world beyond the exaggerations so often seen on television and movies."

"Manifest Intent" by Mike Farris - 314 pages - 5.25" x 8" Pocketbook - Color Softcover. ISBN 9780982998748. Suggested retail price $16.95. Released in December 2010 by Savant Books and Publications, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.
