SUFFOLK, ENGLAND, August 31, 2010 (Press-News.org) This new local cake decorating classes website directory--the only one of its kind in the United States--connects cake decorating students with class teachers in their local area.
The website is run by husband and wife team, Derek and Lindsay Pollard, who saw the growing demand for cake decorating classes, but also spotted the difficulty that potential students have in finding classes when they search for them on the Internet. Every day, hundreds of cake decorating enthusiasts search the Internet, but struggle to find relevant results. They then post questions on forums and Q&A sites, usually concluding that there are no classes available locally to them. To solve this problem, Derek and Lindsay designed and developed a directory that is highly optimized for visitor usability and attracting search engine traffic.
Organized firstly by state and city/town, the directory also provides the ability to tag each of the class providers with the techniques that they teach, giving visitors multiple routes to finding their ideal match. So, whether they are searching primarily by location or looking for a special cake decorating technique, a student can browse the site in their own way.
"The local cake decorating classes directory offers students a quick and easy solution to finding the classes they are looking for, gathered together all in one place.", says Lindsay Pollard. "This makes the directory an essential resource for cake decorating teachers to promote their classes online."
Teachers of cake decorating classes can choose from a range of promotion levels within the directory, the highest of which includes:
- Image galleries to showcase their creations
- An interactive location map
- Being regularly featured in their state and city/town listings.
All directory entries get their own page, with their contact details, a full description, and the specifics of the classes available.
"Our goal is to provide cake decorating students with the best way to find their classes, and to match this with the best online promotion for cake decorating teachers," adds Lindsay.
Cake Decorating Classes is a comprehensive online resource for cake decorators of all levels, combining a local classes directory, online course details and a directory of blogs written by cake decorating professionals, instructors and enthusiasts.
