LateRooms.com - Naples Showcases Work of Marisa Albanese

The art of Marisa Albanese is available for Naples tourists to view at the Museo di Capadimonte.

2010-12-14
NAPLES, ITALY, December 14, 2010 (Press-News.org) Tourists at Naples hotels who want to check out some artwork during their trip to the Italian destination have an opportunity to see pieces created by Marisa Albenese.

Her Spyholes and Grand Tour 2.0 exhibition at the Museo di Capadimonte will be on display until January 9th 2011 and showcases her talent beautifully.

The collection is split into two sections, with the Spyholes area dealing with the way the pupil of the eye influences the way a person will see artwork, while Grand Tour 2.0 offers representations of travel.

According to the organisers, the latter part of the show focuses on producing images of the effects or movements produced by transportation, as opposed to the vehicles themselves.

Albanese has been active in the Italian art sphere for many years, having had exhibitions showcased in some of the country's major cities such as Rome, Venice and Milan, as well as international collections in Germany and Greece.

Travellers keen to discover her trademark style can head to the museum between 08:30 and 19:30 local time any day of the week apart from Wednesdays, when the venue is closed.

Admission to the arts space costs EUR7.50 (GBP6.30) or EUR6.50 after 14:00. There are other concessions available.

For more information on this event, visit the Museo di Capadimonte website or contact the venue on +39 081 7499111.
