NORFOLK, ENGLAND, December 15, 2010 (Press-News.org) People visiting Norfolk hotels in January will have a chance to see Greg Davies, one of the British comedy scene's rising stars.
The 6ft 8in funnyman is perhaps best known as Mr Gilbert, the malevolent head of sixth form in Channel 4's hit series The Inbetweeners.
However, Davies is also a member of acclaimed sketch troupe We Are Klang and his regular panel show appearances have helped to build his reputation as a solo performer in recent months.
Comedy fans can experience the former drama teacher's unique take on the world at the Norwich Playhouse on Friday January 14th.
Davies' new show is entitled Firing Cheeseballs at a Dog and "promises to address every single issue important to the human race", according to the comedian.
Reviewing his debut solo appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe in August, the Guardian's Brian Logan described the performer as "a fine comic craftsman, burlesquing his own ridiculousness for our entertainment".
Tickets for the Norwich show are priced at GBP15, with the event due to begin at 20:00 GMT and last approximately 90 minutes including an interval.
For more information on this event, visit the Norwich Playhouse website or contact the venue on 01603 598 598.

New Research Explains How DHEA Supplementation Improves Embryo Quality
2010-12-15
In 2005, the Center for Human Reproduction (CHR) first introduced dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) supplementation to the infertility field and reported that DHEA had increased egg numbers in women with "older" ovaries going through IVF treatment (Fertility and Sterility). CHR researchers have since reported that DHEA treatment has much broader benefits in the treatment of female infertility - a finding recently confirmed by a study from Israel.
A recent worldwide survey of in vitro fertilization (IVF) centers concluded that approximately one-third have introduced DHEA ...
