LONDON, ENGLAND, December 16, 2010 (Press-News.org) Mervis d.o.o., a Croatia-based audit, accounting and tax practice, has been appointed as a correspondent of the Russell Bedford global CPA group.

The firm was established in 1996 by Ljubica Juranovic-Skocic and it is based in Rijeka, the third city of Croatia and the country's largest port, approximately 160km from the capital, Zagreb.

Ljubica Juranovic-Skocic has some 35 years of professional experience in the financial sector. She has a degree from the Faculty of Economics in Rijeka and is a certified auditor and certified liquidator. Her specialist areas of expertise include audit, financial advisory services and tax consulting.

Mervis d.o.o. has two other certified auditors, Andrej Skocic and Tamara Bossi.

The firm's primary activity is financial audit. Services also include accounting and tax compliance, financial and management consultancy and liquidation support.

The client base includes companies (in sectors such as manufacturing, food, maritime, and financial services), central and local government entities and private individuals both from Croatia and abroad.

Since its inception the firm has been a permanent member of the Croatian Audit Chamber - Hrvatska Revizorska Komora (HRK) - and is subject to the Chamber's audit quality assurance reviews.
