BARCELONA, SPAIN, September 01, 2010 (Press-News.org) There are plenty of top groups confirmed to play at this year's BAM Festival, with Goldfrapp set to be one of the biggest names on the bill.
As well as the hit London dance act, there will be performances by legendary Scottish folk band Belle & Sebastian and New York hip hop stars Anti-Pop Consortium.
It is not just international groups that will be playing at the event, with several Catalan names set to play, such as Me and the Bees, Nueva Vulcano, El Guincho and Els Amics de les Arts.
The 2010 edition of the BAM Festival - which stands for Barcelona Accio Musical Festival - will be the 18th year it has been running and is sure to entice plenty of tourists to stay in some of the cheap hotels Barcelona has to offer.
It will take place from September 23rd to 25th and the organisers have promised to add many more performers to the bill before the start of the occasion.
In previous years bands such as Teenage Fanclub, Primal Scream, Dirty Projectors and The Undertones have taken to the stage, so fans can expect to see plenty of top quality performances.
Prices vary for each show - with gigs taking place across the city - although What's on When claims that the Goldfrapp concert is free to attend and will be held outdoors.
For more information on this event visit the BAM Festival website.
