Messerschmidt Safety Consultants Names Benjamin Smith as Managing Partner - Hattiesburg

Messerschmidt Safety Consultants (MSC), a provider of traffic safety and forensic analysis based in Birmingham, Ala., announced today that Benjamin Smith has been named managing partner.

Messerschmidt Safety Consultants (MSC), a provider of traffic safety and forensic analysis based in Birmingham, Ala., announced today that Benjamin Smith has been named managing partner. Smith will oversee day-to-day operations in MSC's new Hattiesburg, Miss., location.

Smith has an impressive educational background studying biology, chemistry and forensic science at the University of Southern Mississippi. Smith was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Beta Beta Beta science honor societies. Prior to joining MSC, Smith investigated more than 500 vehicle collisions as an associate with ASI Investigations.

In addition to opening the new MSC Hattiesburg office, Smith brings more than 500 hours of training in ground vehicle collision reconstruction to MSC. Smith has co-authored several publications on the application of computerized data to collision reconstruction.
