Cranfield University and Lanner Group Celebrate 20 Years of Partnership in Industry

HOUSTON, TX, December 23, 2010

Lanner Group today announced 20 years of being in partnership with Cranfield University, the postgraduate university for science, technology, engineering and manufacturing. Since its formation, the partnership has facilitated best practice in numerous research projects at Cranfield, as students and academics have adopted Lanner Group's industry leading simulation software across a number of disciplines, most recently as part of the university's Operations Excellence and Engineering and Management of Manufacturing Systems Masters programs.

As well as providing its WITNESS process simulation software to the university, Lanner Group also contributes a number of guest lectures and workshops. Through ensuring that students maximize the capabilities and benefits of WITNESS, both Lanner Group and Cranfield University have confidence that the most up to date, sophisticated tools are being deployed to optimize manufacturing processes and encourage best practice.
