SURREY, ENGLAND, September 02, 2010 (Press-News.org) Today sees the launch of Headwater's 2010/11 Snow programme. Boasting a wide range of winter walking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing choices, it offers a gentle alternative to the traditional ski holiday - just breathing in the clean crisp air feels good!
Headwater's Snow collection represents our finest selection of hotels in incredibly pretty mountain villages where life has hardly changed over the centuries: tiny hamlets in Scandinavia where reindeer wander freely in the streets; picture-postcard Swiss villages where farmers ride to work on sleighs, and snow-sure Tyrolean mountain retreats where elegant 500-year old mansions reflect the region's history as Seat of the upper classes.
It doesn't matter if you've never been on a snow holiday before - most of our trips are tailored towards first-timers with the emphasis on progressing at your own pace, away from the crowds, along beautifully groomed flat trails where you'll feel comfortable, in control and very much in touch with nature and the environment.
As part of our commitment to Responsible Tourism, we have not produced a printed brochure for our Snow 2010/11 programme, however you can view our snow brochure on-line, or customise and download your personal PDF copy. And, of course, full details on all our Snow holidays can be found on our website, www.headwater.com. New for 2010/11, we have included too "Recommended for ..." panels for every holiday so you can make "at a glance" comparisons for the things that are most important to you.
All our holidays are based on 7-night stays (with some 10-night Christmas Specials) and usually include flights from London. But you are not limited to these dates or routes. We can extend, or shorten trips, and we can book flights from your regional airport or with your preferred carrier. You can, of course, decide to book your own flights - however, in light of the Icelandic volcano, it's worth remembering the financial protection afforded by booking travel through a bonded tour operator.
We very much hope that you will choose Headwater for your next Snow holiday. If you're looking for a particularly popular time (typically Christmas, New Year, Valentines or February half term), we'd suggest booking early to guarantee your trip at the best price - flights in particular are likely to increase once seats become limited.
So, enjoy creating your personal PDF Snow brochure and we hope to hear from you shortly.
