According to Gary Kremen, founder and former CEO of Match.com, "a dating site's success hinges upon its ability to attract women. Dressing up female members' expectations as flavors is also a gentler way for them to communicate that they want commitment (Vanilla), sex (Chocolate), to make and chat with friends online (Lemon), or experience the finer things in life (Lime)," Ridgeway adds.

Both the concept and colorful design of the site itself might seem to appeal to a younger demographic, but Ridgeway insists all ages are welcome.
