He is a living legend in his native Italy and boasts a wide range of talents that include filmmaking, writing and performing as a singer and guitarist.

Born in northern Italy, Luciano Ligabue started getting into the music scene around 1986 and went on to produce a series of successful albums.

A measure of his popularity is that he set a European audience record with a gig in Reggio Emilia, which saw about 180,000 people attend.

As a result, guests at Naples hotels can be sure there will significant demand for his upcoming tour.

The Naples show will take place on February 22nd at the Teatro Bellini on Via Conte di Ruvo.

Ligabue has named the tour Quasi Acustico, which suggests fans can expect to hear plenty of 'unplugged' tracks during the course of the gig.

He is well known among enthusiasts for producing albums with unusual names, with the translations of some of them including Happy Birthday Elvis, Name and Surname and Lambrusco, Knives, Roses and Popcorn.

Admission to the show starts from EUR40.25 (GBP34.70) online, with the concert due to kick off at 21:00 local time.
