LONDON, ENGLAND, January 07, 2011 (Press-News.org) After the success of the first round of free practice materials, Target English are starting 2011 with a new round of test practice materials for both the PTE Academic and IELTS.
Updated weekly, the practice materials have eight modules which give the students practice at skills for both exams. The practice materials are completely free, and once logged in students can access not only the practice materials, but also useful test guides. Materials can be accessed through the Target English website http://www.target-english.co.uk
The practice materials were developed by EAP professionals Fiona Aish and Jo Tomlinson to help students try to practise the skills they would need without having to rely on expensive online courses. As Jo Tomlinson states "we prepare a lot of students for both the IELTS and PTE exams, but when trying to suggest online resources students could use on a casual basis, we found there was a real lack of any quality material. So, Fiona and I put our heads together and wrote free practice material ourselves, and not just for our own students, but anyone who wants to practise their test skills."
The Target English test materials focus on test practice for reading, writing, listening and speaking; the four skills tested in both the PTE and IELTS. Each week of materials is subject-based. Personal feedback is also available for written modules for a small charge. The new modules for 2011 will begin on January 7th 2011. Target English are also looking for contributors to add more practice material. Anyone who is interested in contributing can contact Target English at info@target-english.co.uk
