Green Morocco Hosts 3 Continents and Celebrates 2-Day Successes of the First Unprecedented International Indoor Archery Tournament in Marrakesh
Unique way to say goodbye, 2010 - Marrakesh, the beautifully scented city of green Morocco and under the theme of "Unlimited Archery" has celebrated the first exceptional - yet international - indoor archery tournament participated by 3 continents.

"This was unprecedented step toward archery development in Morocco and North Africa, in spite of challenges faced the event, we had to make it happen. The passion to archery was our motive," Meriam El Mahiri, President of Association Club Arc de Marrakech De Tir a l'Arc.- the event organizer.The event has been enriched by participants from Africa, Asia and Europe represented by 5 countries (Morocco, Algeria, France, Italy and Saudi Arabia).
"That was amazing to have a collaboration of 58 professional archers competing for 2 days, the forecasted participants' number had been - however - larger but due new year celebrations it has been challenged - Next year's event expected to attract even more countries and archers," added Meriam El Mahiri.
It is worth mentioning that participants have expressed a big joy of hospitality, nice weather, tours and social interaction that reflected kind hosting of Morocco, the green country.
