LateRooms.com - Enjoy the Doctor Who Experience in London

The Doctor Who Experience is set to open in London in February.

2011-01-12
LONDON, ENGLAND, January 12, 2011 (Press-News.org) London's Olympia venue is set to stage the Doctor Who Experience, which is guaranteed to attract plenty of fans of the Timelord to the capital.

The show will be opening on February 20th and will be available to view until November 30th, so there is plenty of time for people to book London hotels and check out the installation.

Fans of the show will no doubt appreciate the work that has gone into charting a complete history of Doctor Who and his rise to stardom in the UK.

There will be plenty of original costumes and stage props for visitors to peruse, with one of the highlights being a Tardis that people can actually get into.

"The new Doctor Who Experience puts you at the heart of the action, including special scenes filmed with the current Doctor Matt Smith, combined with amazing special effects," remarked the organisers.

According to the venue, the show aims to be partly educational and partly a fun and interactive installation.

The cost of admission varies depending on when people want to visit the show, with peak periods - weekends and holiday days - being more expensive than off-peak times at GBP18 and GBP15 respectively if booked online in advance.

Anyone paying on the door will be charged GBP20.

Opening hours are from 10:00 to 17:00 GMT every day.

For more information on this event, visit the Doctor Who Experience website or contact the venue on 0871 230 2200.
