LANCASTER, PA, January 21, 2011 (Press-News.org) Taxpayers may want to update their wills in 2011 to take advantage of new tax benefits introduced in the recent Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Authorization, and Job Creation Act, according to estate planning lawyer Patti Spencer.
Spencer Law Firm (www.spencerlawfirm.com), a Lancaster PA trust and estates law firm, is hosting two educational tax planning seminars, one for members of the public on January 26th, and a second seminar on January 27th for attorneys, accountants, and financial planners. Both morning seminars will take place at the Eden Resort & Suites.
"Taxpayers who want to minimize their estate and business tax payments need to understand the many provisions that can help them save money," said Spencer, a frequent speaker on tax planning and estate administration matters. Accountants, attorneys, and financial planners will learn what the tax law means for their practice. Topics will include:
