On February 6, 2011, Arlington Heights Ford is sponsoring a BuzzCheck Superbowl Sunday Drunk Driving Prevention Campaign. They are donating taxi gift cards to Peggy Kinnanes to prevent DUIs on 2nd most dangerous day of the year for drunk driving.

2011-01-26
CHICAGO, IL, January 26, 2011 (Press-News.org) Arlington Heights Ford is collaboratively working with BuzzCheck, a grassroots company focused on preventing drunk driving, to prevent drunk driving during Superbowl Sunday. Superbowl Sunday is one of the most dangerous times of the year for drinking and driving, second only to New Year's Eve in relation to drunk driving arrests and fatalities.

The campaign focuses on increasing awareness and providing solutions to a problem that is 100% preventable. The priority is to prevent deaths and DUI's during one the most dangerous days for drinking and driving in the United States.

According to the Illinois DUI Factbook 2010, the cost of an average DUI in Illinois is $16,000. A DUI is also permanently on a person's driving record. BuzzCheck is providing solutions to prevent DUIs that hinder a person's career growth and driving record as well as preventing heartbreak and devastation among our friends and neighbors in our communities.

To provide a solution during Superbowl Sunday, Arlington Heights Ford is sponsoring a BuzzCheck Superbowl Sunday Drunk Driving Prevention Campaign. The award-winning car dealership is donating subsidized taxi gift cards to a local Arlington Heights bar to prevent DUI tragedies. BuzzCheck will initiate, facilitate, and coordinate the drunk driving prevention campaign.

The taxi gift cards will be donated to Peggy Kinnanes, the most authentic Irish Restaurant & Pub in Chicagoland, whose 8,000 sq ft pub was constructed in Ireland, shipped to the U.S., and assembled on site. The event is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 6, 2011. Guests will be sure to enjoy the 100 inch television providing phenomenal viewing of the Superbowl game. The celebration will feature unlimited beers and wines, a first-half buffet, a second-half buffet, raffles, and giveaways. This second annual Superbowl party will be open only to those registering to attend, thus creating an intimate night of football and dining. Tickets can be purchased by contacting Peggy Kinnanes at 847-577-7733.
